Hosted by Northside Kiwanis Club, the adult spelling bee is a fun evening with three-member teams competing against each other for the coveted title of top speller in Tallahassee. Food and drinks will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will go to several local charities including the Lighthouse Children's Home, Refuge House and organizations helping handicapped children. The club is soliciting sponsors as well as three-member spelling teams. The general public is welcome to attend free of charge to root for their favorite teams.
