The Capital City has made another national list for places to live.

In November, HGTV named Tallahassee as one of 20 of the best mid-size cities to live in within the United States.

Per the home and garden television channel, “mid-size cities have it all, only on a slightly smaller scale."

The list went on to include 20 mid-sized cities that are 'must visit' destinations on travelers bucket lists; Tallahassee was included on that list.

According to the channel, Tallahassee “wows with its historic downtown, public art works and a vibrant nightlife scene, as well as public parks and green spaces."

HGTV also noted that Tallahassee's appeal is due in part to its close proximity to top-notch North Florida beaches, the in-town places to see art and outdoor activity areas around the capital city.

Tallahassee was one of three Florida cities to make the list.

Other cities on HGVT’s list include:  Salem, Oregon; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Madison, Wisconsin; Huntsville, Alabama; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Knoxville, Tennessee; Kansas City, Missouri; Boise, Idaho; Lubbock, Texas; Omaha, Nebraska; Modesto, California; Chattanooga, Tennessee; Fort Collins, Colorado; Port St. Lucie, Florida; Overland Park, Kansas; Frisco, Texas; Durham, North Carolina; Henderson, Nevada; and Tampa, Florida.
