A hospital stay is never a fun or easy experience, and the difficulty of that stay is increased when it coincides with the holidays.

Through the first week of December, Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare will be collecting Christmas cards to be distributed to in-hospital patients from December 12 - January 1.

The community is welcome to participate in creating cards for hospital patients.

To do so, CLICK HERE to download and print one of the hospital’s pre-made card templates.

Decorate the template, and fill it with a warm season’s greetings; the hospital asks that the cards avoid spiritual or specific holiday greetings (December includes several holidays - not just Christmas!), but card-makers are encouraged to focus on neutral messages, such as “happy holidays” or “season’s greetings”.

After your card (or cards) is complete, you can drop it off at one of the TMH drop-off locations around Tallahassee:

Public Relations Building: 1308 Hodges Drive

Foundations Building: 1331 East Sixth Avenue

Cafeteria & Cafe: 1300 Miccosukee Road

Drop-offs can be done anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., until December 5.
