Summer Camp Roundup: From arts to sports, Tallahassee has summer camps for all families

The Capital City is offering plenty of summer camps for the kids beginning in June.

From faith-based camps and art camps, to sports camps and everything in between, there’s likely to be a camp that appeals to your children.

Here’s what is offered in Tallahassee this summer:


Music camps:

FSU Summer Music Camps — This camp is for ages five through 18 and takes from mid-June through early July. It features music education for all ability levels.

Mason’s School of Music, Dance, and Arts Summer Camps —  This camp is for ages five through 18 and features activities including music, dance, drama, and art. Their camps run from June to August.

Maclay Summer Camps — This camp is for ages three through 18 and includes theater, dance, and music instrument-focused activities. Their camps run from June through August.

Camp Challenger Summer Camps — This camp features STEAM-based activities for students ages kindergarten through grade eight from June through August.

Sports camps

Tallahassee Jrs Volleyball Club Summer Camps — This camp features volleyball training for boys and girls in elementary and middle school. It runs from the last week of May through the second week of June.

FSU Basketball Summer Camp — This camp is a basketball-focused camp for children ages eight through 18. It takes place from the first week of June through the second week of June.

Gallop’s Summer Camp —
This camp is a martial-arts-focused camp for children in preschool, elementary school, and preschool. It takes place from the beginning of June through mid-August.

Little Lambs Children’s Center — This faith-based arts camp is for children ages five through 11. It takes place from the end of May through the beginning of August.
